A few days ago, I was walking to my car and it started to rain. Not the heavy, drenching rain we have had recently, but that light, windy rain that can still make your hair and clothing damp.
Just as I was about to open my car door, a lovely young man offered to share his umbrella with me.
I had to decline, since I was already at the car and had my own umbrella, but that small gesture put a smile on my face and a beam of gladness in my heart. I was smiling cheek to cheek as I drove away.
