Memorialising Encounters Through Acts of Kindness

Have you ever considered the power of a small act of kindness and how it can create ripples of joy and connection in your life?

Recently, I joined a monthly Zoom forum with my fellow Fulfillment Partners to reflect on what 2024 meant for each of us. As we shared our journeys, it became clear that 2024 was a transformative year filled with achievements, big wins, and memorable milestones—both individually and collectively.

Together, we celebrated and expressed gratitude for the year gone by while setting our sights on new aspirations for 2025.

The Power of Memorialising Encounters Through Acts of Kindness

For me, 2024 was particularly pivotal because it marked the birth of something close to my heart: Memriz. At the start of last year, I couldn’t have imagined what Memriz would become.

Looking back, I’m reminded of my younger days when I used to sketch drawings and write heartfelt poems as gifts for friends and colleagues during their birthdays and special moments. These small but meaningful gestures allowed me to express emotions and sentiments that words alone could not convey.

Today, that same spirit of giving and connection has evolved into the creation of the Purple Hyacinth lapel pin, a symbol of memorialising encounters through acts of kindness. Why the Purple Hyacinth? This flower holds a special place in my heart. Not only is it one of my favourite blooms, but its rich purple hue resonates deeply with me on a personal level. It’s a beautiful way to capture the emotions and memories of each encounter, offering a tangible token of kindness that speaks volumes without uttering a word.

Now, as February 2025 approaches, I’m thrilled to celebrate the six-month anniversary of Memriz. I can’t wait to share how this humble creation has become a tool for expressing love, appreciation, and connection in ways I’d only dreamed of. The Purple Hyacinth lapel pin is more than just an accessory; it’s a reminder that even the smallest gestures can leave a lasting impact.

During our forum, my fellow Fulfillment Partners shared their own inspiring journeys—their milestones, lessons, and visions for the future. Listening to their stories filled me with motivation and reminded me of the importance of celebrating our victories, no matter how big or small, and of looking forward to what’s ahead.
